You are free to run around the arena and toss shurikens at your opponent from long range. Fights take place on an open 3D plain and it's got a unique feel when compared to other fighters that I have played. The fighting sequences are what all modes focus on however. The 3D beat'em stages play much like a hack and slash mode where you will have several waves of enemies coming at you and your character must fight off the enemies and reach the goal at the end of a long stage. You control a character and run around an area to talk to people, collect items and perform other minor little tasks to progress in the story. The field view areas are set up much like an rpg. The fighting sequences are the main meat of the game and I'll get to those later in the review. The majority of the time, the game plays cutscenes that lead up to a fighting sequence, but it also has a few large-scale battles, field view exploration (much like an rpg) and some 3D beat'em stages. The game has several epic moments such as this throughout its story. The story mode opens up with an action-packed boss battle against a giant Nine-Tailed Fox that is attacking the Hidden Leaf Village. The main story is told with several animated cutscenes that resemble the storyline from the manga and animated series. The story mode carries the main variety of the overall game for a single player. The game has a story mode, free battle mode and an online mode. At its core, Naruto mainly focuses on fighting.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is the third fighting game in the series of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja video games that are based off the Naruto manga series. I actually found myself quite addicted to the story at times and the gameplay has a decent amount of variety as well. It has several flashebacks during the story mode that helped me to catch up on the overall story to the game. I know very little about the manga series itself, but I learned quite a bit from this game and I really enjoyed the story to it. I have heard quite a bit of good things about the Naruto games ever since they started appearing on Gamecube. I'll be completely honest with you - this is my first time playing a Naruto game. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is very lengthy, immersive and has a ton to offer so I definitely recommend it.Extra Features: Local multiplayer (1-2), Online multiplayer (2-8), Leaderboards These elements show great potential for a great game and hopefully more games to come. Then one of the things I am most excited about is the new characters like all the tails,Nagato,many reanimated characters, and my favorite,Madara Uchiha. New features have been added to the gameplay system too such as ring out which has its up and down sides and automatic awakenings which can actually work out quite well in battle if you don't abuse the privilege. In the Sasuke fight and other kinds of boss fights it mixes regular fighting with beautiful quicktime events and awesome visuals that you feel amazed by.

The same open world experience as Storm 2 where you have to go on foot and get to your target is a bit time consuming but still has many collectible a on the way so it is worth it. Storm 3 is picking up where Storm 2 left off and it starts with the search for Sasuke. With the new improvements in gameplay features, the huge character roster and an epic story mode Storm 3 is something Hardcore Naruto fans will love and casual gamers alike.
